Alexandre Jacquot's skills and objectives

In this first forum, we ask you to list of your skill that fit in Delphi & C++Builder & EXT JS & Hardware interfacing Meetup.

The group is dedicated to Web, mobile and desktop applications development with Ext-JS, Delphi and C++ Builder. Writing software with Delphi/C++ has never been so easy than today and it is now also completely free with the new Community edition of the Delphi /C++ IDE ( The objectives of the group are to learn all possible aspects of the products, develop our skills and also collectively write cool apps, web applications and laverage functionalities that development platforms such as Arduino, Raspberry and custom electronics devices can offer. We will focus on EXT JS (Sencha) to build our Web Application on the browser side. The group is also open to peoples having HTML5 / javascript or PHP/Java skills willing to mix programming languages and use the best of all worlds! We recommend that you download the FREE GPL3 EXT-JS SDK ( and experiment immediately! Students starting learning programming language or electronic are very, very welcome. We are welcoming also electronics engineers all level! We are putting at your disposition an overhead projector, screen, Wordpress and OpenProject instances, several Arduino and Raspberry Pi, many sensors and actuators, a 3D printer and a small electronic workshop and of course a cloud server just for running our web applications! So join us and have fun!

Alexandre Jacquot's skills and objectives

Post by Alexandre Jacquot »

From 2005 until 2016, I have been developing and marketing innovative measurements systems for the Fraunhofer IPM in Freiburg. I enjoy products development very much. I have been working in a small team composed of mechanical and electronic engineers. I contribute especially through my expertise in programming, in numerical simulations and managing team to the development of innovative materials, measurement systems, the thermomechanical analysis of components and system and the development new thermoelectric generators and cooler.

You can find more information about my education and past research on ResearchGate:

Since 2016 I am working as Software Engineer by 2d-datarecording In Karlsruhe. I am using here mostly Delphi and do quite a lot with video.

In my spare time I am programming app for mobile phones and do quite a lot of things with Raspberry Pi and Arduino. Now I am learning to develop web applications more professionally. I choose Ext JS (Sencha) because I think that we can develop rich web applications quickly but the learning curve is steep. The framework is also well documented and also professionally managed. The second direction I would like to take is to deepen my knowledge in C++. I would like especially to use computer vision framework like OpenCV in C++ builder.
